Manuelita (Mandy) Davila is a single parent and a caregiver who was diagnosed on August 2021 with invasive ductal carcinoma. Estrogen and progesterone positive, her2 negative. When Mandy had her bilateral mastectomy surgery, they found that her lymph nodes were positive for cancer, therefore her treatment approach changed aggressively through chemotherapy, radiation, and hysterectomy – even taking her ovaries.

Her journey has been a difficult one, but with God’s Grace and the help of her friends at Women Rock, the path has been less painful. Mandy is proud to serve on the Women Rock Board of Directors.
